“A QUANTIC DREAM” is the title of a minimal pop operetta written by Rita Braga during a 2 month artist residency in Graz, Austria.

It was performed at Schaumbad – Freies Atelierhaus Graz on the 27th of October 2016 with performers Rita Braga (singing, ukulele, synth), Dorit Chrysler (theremin), Kalinka Kalaschnikow (dancer), Johannes Schrettle (narrator/scientist) and with projections of stop motion animation films by Martha Colburn created for this performance.

“A Quantic Dream” is a combination of a dream sequence, astrophysics, burlesque and light hearted existencialism, filled with symbols to be interpreted in many ways.

The three original songs written for this performance: “Is there another World?”, “Millions of Reflections” and “A Quantic Dream” were later recorded in studio and released on Rita’s space pop album Bird on the Moon in 2018.
